Farmall steering u-joint

I see all the aftermarket parts stores sell the u joint with yokes, then have to cut the shaft, drill & pin/bolt. Does nobody just sell the u joint? Thanks, I try to search this also.

I got mine from the local CaseIH dealer, just the cross and bearings.

I also got a steering shaft cross from local IH dealer, after visiting 3 aftermarket bearing / parts houses and couldn"t cross reference it - -been a few years, but seems like it was just $15-$20.

You can buy the u-joint and no cutting is needed you need to find another supply.

Forgot how many places, sites I called that sell old tractors parts. All sell yokes/u joint installed, then have cut up shaft. I must be looking in the wrong places. Which seems pretty dumb to me. Took advice, went to local IH dealer @ lunch. Another branch of their's & main warehouse have it stock. Should be here @ end of week, $24 cdn. Thanks

I got my u-joints from Napa. you need the diameter of the cap, and the width of the cross. I replaced the u-joints on my SC with Napa ones.
