Farmall A spark arrester

I just got an A with a solid manifold and spark arrester on it.Are they rare or worth anything?It work's when it runs goes up and down.Thanks

Thats not a spark arrester it is the pressure valve for the exhaust lift system. There should be a piece of pipe gony from it over to a check valve assy mounted bu the filter. That system routs the exhaust gas thru that valve to a cyclinder which lifts any implement made for the A ractor.

If you heat it with a torch it can be unscrewed out of the manifold then replaced with a piece of pipe for the muffler. The lever should be fastened open so the exhaust can have a clear path out.
