Auxilery Hydraulic Pump for a 46 H

I was curious if anyone has what I call the "distributor drive" hydraulic pump for my 46 H. I'd like to be able to put a loader (preferably an IH loader of the same era) and eventually one of the new 3 point hitches for it. Can't do all that with the existing pump. I've been told one off a 300 will fit, but I don't know. If anyone has one, or knows where one can be had, don't hesitate to mail me. Thanks much.

There are several on Ebay right now for anywhere between $200 and $600 .

You will likely need to replace the cam gear because it is not strong enough to handle the pressure of the pump. Later gears were stronger; such as the model 300 or Super H.
If you replace the front cover with a later version at the same time the pump bolt holes will align correctly.
See your nearest tractor salvage yard. Biewer's in Barnesville, MN will ship anywhere; talk to Gary or Don.

I ran both a #31 loader and a 3 point hitch with the belly pump on my H. Not at the same time, but I could use either one or the other.

wayne is right about that cam gear , my early M had a live pump off a 400 and it broke the gear clean off the cam , also use caution when buying a live pump ,the alum. housing pumps are normally worn out because most didnt have a filter on them they may pump still but pressure will be low, M&W made one out of cast iron which i think will bolt right on , if you use one off a 300 you need the front cover & the backing plate off the 300 to put on your H , i think the M&W pump will bolt right up to an H though ,but youll pay more for one
