F-20 front axels/spindle

I would like to switch my F-20 front wheel axels to a F-20 spindle assemble that has more angle to it. The only problem is that I don't know how to do it..
The front spindles with the angled axels has 3 inches of the steering shaft with it including a key slot. Is this how they're supposed to be or is it broke? I don't think it's broke because it looks flat and smooth like a clean cut.
I hope this isn't too confusing. From what I understand from the manual the steering shaft is one assembly, so that means this angled spindle is broke. If so, is there anything I can do to swap them out?
Thank you

If I understand you correctly yours has probably been sawed off. The upright shaft should press out of the spindle piece but I had a guy try once with his press and he could not get that one to budge. Good luck.

For our Farmall Regular (same as your F20) husband tried at home to remove the cut-off piece of steering shaft. Even bought a 50 ton jack for his press - but that bent our press shaft.

Then took it to a machinist who could not budge it either.

Then took it to the son of that machinist (the son is also a machinist - with a bigger more modern shop)... that guy finally got it pressed out - but it took over 35 tons of pressure - PLUS heat. Was really tough to get out.

So you may have to hire it done.
