how much oil is the tranny and PTO supposed to hold and is 80-90 wt gear oil ok for it ?

It will hold between 4 1/2 & 5 quarts between the transmission & PTO. Yes, 80-90 gear oil is fine.

There is a small pipe plug on the left-hand side of the transmission, behind the left side brake rod. Take it out, when oil comes out of there, the transmission is full.

Do not overfill as that will lead to leaking oil seals.
