clutch adjustment on 1486???

I have been having a little trouble changing gears on my 1486 lately. The clutch does not take ahold until the very top. Twice I had to shut the motor off to change gears. You can't ride the clutch to back up to hook something up. Its ether in or out. NOW, there are some days it works good. Takes ahold about half way up and works very smooth. The clutch was replaced when I had a new TA put in about 400 hrs ago. Anyone have any ideas on what is going on? TA shifts good, brakes and steering all work. I don't know what to try to adjust first.

Could be that the cab is moving on the mounts , could be that the mounting of the clutch pedal is breaking or moving , could be that you need to have the clutch , trans brake and dump valve readjusted . since i can not see for myself these are my best guesses.

I agree, to test whether cab isomounts are problem get in just push the clutch pedal a few times, (engine off) if the cab moves the you need 4 new isomounts. Common problem with 86/88 series & it affects shifting + clutch adj.
