Farmall M timing marks

My camgear broke and I am in the process of replacing it. I found two different answers for the timing marks. Some say put the single mark on the cam gear with the double mark on the pump gear and put double mark from cam gear with the single mark on the crank gear. Others say the put single mark from the cam gear with the single mark mark on crank gear and the double marks line up with the pump gear. Wondering if anyone knows for sure. Thanks

Thanks for the info. It makes more sense to have the 1 to 1 and 2 to 2. I thought it was that way but when I checked with others and one said the opposite I started questioning myself. Thanks again for the quick responses. And I do have a serviceman's manual for the Farmall M and it was a complete waste of money.

The manual was wrong for my Super M also. However the pulley was changed to reflect the newer use of fire crater pistons, etc -- likely yours was the same way.
