Autolite 3077's are now obsolete !

Discovered this yesterday. NAPA can no longer get them, and they are no longer listed on Autolite's web site.

Have been calling around various auto parts stores. They all come back with they can't order them anymore, and only have a few in stock.

Check your local sources before they're all gone!
 
is there any reason you use this specific plug. i believe other autolites are still readily available. you might also try crossing to an NGK plug.
 
Yeppers, the 3076 is indeed near the correct original heat range plug, but based on yearsssssssss of using the hotter deeper reach side wire electrode 3077 plugs, in a ton of different tractors (some like new others worn out n oil burners lol) THEY SURE DONT FOUL OR CARBON UP NEAR AS QUICK OR BAD AS THE 3076 when put to light duty or parade use. Now if working hot n hard n heavy loaded all day then the 3076 or hotter 3077 both do fine.........

I still have several around but will stock up anytime at a swap meet etc. They just dont foul out or carbon up near as fast as the cooler 3076 when youre parading etc

I use 87ACs and D21Champions tractor rides parades mowing yard ect with 10% Ethanol with no problems don't see why all complaining about plugs been using 10% for over 30 yrs still running strong.
 
I am a big fan of the Autolite 3077 for all the reasons listed. Stock up. Although, I have heard mixed reports about a new run. I do know that the current run "stock" is gone from the major suppliers. Autolite has indicated that hey may make another run, but who knows when. Smoke 'em if you got 'em.

Also, for those of you who DON'T hate Champion:

CHAMPION 589 W89D is the same plug. Look it up.
 
Also, in my opinion, the long reach is the most attractive part of the 3077. Getting that spark deeper into the combustion chamber helps with easier starting.
