Fast hitch on A

Going to a sale Saturday that has an A on it. Was holding out for a 140 with Fast hitch but scarce in my area. So, what would it take to put a fast hitch on a A? Would it be hard to find a Fast hitch in a salvage yard?

The A doesent have hy system so you cant put a fast hitch on that model.

The "A" does not have any hydraulics only hand lifts. Therefore a a fast hitch could not be used with rigging up a addon hydraulic system.
Your best bet would be look for a Super A,100,130 or 140 all which would possibly come with a fast hitch or one could be added easily.
Fast hitches are available but are in demand and pricey. Scan eBay or the classified on this site to get pricing ranges.

As the other 2 said the A has no hyds on it so you would have to add on some sort of hyd pump and a control valve. I have done that by using a power steering pump off an old Chev truck on a B and it worked pretty well

Keep looking for at least a SUPER A.

The fast hitch mounts to the final drives, but the holes are different on an A. You can't even attach it to the tractor!

Not only do you need a pump but you also need to rig something up to replicate the touch control rockshafts in order to get the fast hitch to work...
