1. Don't wait to get a lower panel for the grille. I did on my Super H, thought it looked good without it. Then I finally put it on last fall, and boy what a difference. Looks brandy-new all over again.

2. Some guys have all the luck. You have the grille with the big holes. Neither of my '53 Supers have the big hole grilles.

I have already put the insert in the grill since that pic was taken. My grandpa bought that tractor in 1960 or '61 from the origial owner and that guy had turned it over and had to buy a replacement grill, so that grill has been on there for over 55 years. This tractor is a 1952 Super M, serial number L-500154 SM.

Looks really good! I take it from the tractor behind it and the studs in the rear weights you use it to pull with? Since I have a C, what are the holes in the grill for?

Hole in the grill was to attach the shifting gang cultivator steering linkage. Used with check row corn when cross cultivating. (BC ie: before chemicals!)

We farm with the Super M all year and then I put wheelie bars and weight brackets on to pull a couple of times a year. I will be putting them on soon and take more pics then too.
