IH 986 Capable of running hydraulic driven sprayer pump?

Im looking at getting a new sprayer that has a hydraulic driven pump on it. I'm pretty sure my 986 has the open system. Was wondering if that will handle that job or not.

I run my Top-air sprayer with my 1086. You just need to bungee the lever back to hold it. I would guess it would be ok.

I have sprayed many years with my 1466. You will need to have lever tied back with bungee or tarp strap. I also put a flow control valve on the hydraulic hose to the pump. Without it my pump would run too much pressure. I have a return line with breakaway on my tractor that returns oil through the drain plug opening on the tractor, that i use for my corn planter. I think the sprayer pumps are low enough volume that you can return through your normal breaka ways.
