H pto speed

I threw a hypro spray pump on our "52 H to see if we could run a sprayer. Seems to be running slow. Was wondering if the H was in fact a 540 rpm set up.

Would appreciate some thoughts

Its 540. It should run a smaller sprayer just fine. Way back when I sprayed pastures and small grains and corn with a 300.

It should run at 540 at nearly WOT. I usually ran mine slower unless I needed maximum power to get through a tough spot when baling hay or something.

Engine wide open, no load, should get you about 600 rpms on the pto shaft.

I ran a big blue Hypro spray pump for years, no problem. If it"s what I ran, the thing is about 7" x 5", the H has plenty of power.
