Farmall Seat

I need help on figuring out what type of seat My '39 farmall h had on it. Someone put the battery box type seat on it, which is rusted out, and I am looking to put it back original. There is a spring with a bolt hooked to a raised portion of the floor casting. If anyone chan help me on the original seat type and what it looked like that would be great. Thanks -Todd

Be prepared to spend some $$$.

This of course is assuming that your top deck has the middle valley as pictured above. If not, then this is the set up you need. In both cases, a lot cleaner than a rusted out battery box.

Thanks, very helpful. I am going to look under the battery box seat
and see if the valley is there. It should be because this is a very
early JD H. I'm usually a green tractor owner, but I inherited these
from my dad, a red tractor owner, and they are starting to grow on
me

)
