Removing Top Tank From A Super M Radiator

Has anyone had any experience in removing and then resoldering the top radiator tank on a Super M ?
I would appreciate any suggestions that you may make or places that the information may be found.
I am restoring a Super M and the top radiator tank has some dents that I would like to remove and there is a crack on the side of the tank. If I can get it off, the dents can be removed and I can more easily repair the crack. Otherwise, the radiator looks good.
Thank you in advance for any help you can give to me.
 
Carefully heat up a section of the seam with a torch, then give it a blast of air from an air compressor blow gun to get rid of the solder. Then, move on a bit and repeat. Makes a solder MESS, but will get the tank off!
