We have a International 584 Diesel. Last year the PTO ran the hay bine good now you can stop it with your hand. We have changed the fluid and filter,
and also the steering won't turn. Any ideas?

As the pto works from the steering return oil and the steering is faulty i would suggest the flow divider in the MCV is stuck open!!this is located inside the rear plug which if you remove should drop out with its spring.

Does the hitch work o/k ??

Hi Stanley,
If the 584 has a remote hydraulic outlet, sometimes if you dead head the remote until you hear the relief valve buzz, it will unstick the flow divider in the MCV.

I have a 485 with 3 pt lift problems. What manuals do you sell; do they cover the hydraulics real well?

I just took the RV out and it had metal shavings in it. Changed the fluid and filter & thought better check flow divider. Has phillip"s head, seems someone had tried before to get it out. Key word
TRIED, any suggestions?
