Is there a place that sells a complete over haul kit for a water pump? I know a lot of people say go to case IH but I think they are stopping selling parts for these tractors. I've been to two and couldn't get an oil filter or water pump rebuild parts.
 
CaseIH can likely order parts, local dealer stocks oil filters. I doubt if there is still a kit, you have to order individual parts. I have spent several thousand ordering IH parts the last 11 years, very few parts are not available. Get a parts book and give them the numbers, they can tell you in a couple of minutes whether or not it is available. As to the water pump, you will probably find that a rebuilt or aftermarket pump is cheaper--try Steel Wheel Ranch--785-548-7437.
 
To my knowledge, you will not find an H water rebuild "kit" for sale anywere. The 2 ball bearings and 2 oil seals you can order through your local NAPA or other auto parts store. There is a felt seal that you can cut out your self or order through your local CaseIH dealer. You can get the pre-cut pieces of packing from the CaseIH dealer too, you need 3 pieces and they are about $8 each last time I bought them. Gaskets you can easily cut out of gasket paper. I have rebuilt several H and M water pumps and spent $60-75 each on all the parts needed. What does a new pump cost? $150-200?
 
I priced and bought the components separately, and saved a pile of money. I bought the bearings and packing at McMaster-Carr, and the seals at advance auto.
 
I bought all the official CNH parts at my CNH dealer in December 2011. I haven't done the job yet, but the official CNH bearings were Made in China, the seals were Made in Mexico, the gasket packing was Made in Canada, oh yes the paper gaskets were Made in USA.
