Farmall C 3 point

How much would a 3 point adaptor for a C be valued at? I have a friend that wants to sell me an adaptor that would fit my C and also a 7" sickle mower for $200.00. Would it be wise to take him up on that offer? I think it would be nice to have the 3 point so I could do more with my tractor. Any thoughts???

A 3point on a C is nice.I have no idea if 'your' unit is a factory job or homemade.but $200 wont buy much steel,let alone the time to build it.....My advise is buy iy.Steve

This is the price fora 3 point set up right out of the nnalert catalog for last year. $997.48. That is of course a factory built aftermarket one so if you can buy one for $200 I would if you want one jump on it yesterday

Only disadvantage is that it probably works off the rockshaft, which means a rod runs along by your foot and may be in the way. It won't lift as much as one with a remote valve and a cylinder. If it has those things and is in good condition it is way underpriced. If the rod and less lifting is not a problem, buy it.
