farmall 504 2/16 pull plow

want to plow with my farmall 504 and 2/16 pull plow. what is the distance from the center of the tractor to the inside of the tire should be?? or whats the easiest way to set this plow up with this tractor.thanks!

With my H I set the drawbar over a few inches to make the plow run right. Getting the center of draft lined up with the center of the tractor just seemed too fussy for a few days work.

Yes, it's not that crucial when it's only a 2-bottom plow on a tractor the size of a 504.

To get it all centered up, I think you'd need to have like 18" from the center of the tractor to the inside of the furrow wheel. That'd be 16" for 1/2 the total width of the plow, plus 2" of clearance on the furrow wall.

I don't think you'd set it that narrow even for "real" plowing.

Just adjust the drawbar on the plow so that the front bottom takes a full cut.
