560 lazy power steering

I have a farmall 560 and the power steering seems lazy. Is this normall? Can it be repaired, if so what do I need to do? The oil is fresh and up to level plug on left side of transmission. Thanks for any help.

There is a few reasons but the one that has happened to me twice is the knuckle by the middle of the tractor on the outside gets rusty and the knuckle binds giving the appearance of being lazy. I had a loader on it and all the hydraulics worked fine so one day I raised the front off the ground with the loader and it steered the same. I soaked the joint with light oil a few times and it got better, Just something to try before tearing into it too deep.
