Red Power Roundup Coming Up, Who's Going?

A little Introduction. Red Power Roundup or "The Roundup" is the annual nation wide show of the International Harvester Collectors. It is held in a different location each year hosted by a state Chapter of the club. This year it will be in Lima Ohio June 19-22. This will be a great chance for some of you eastern guys to get there while it's close (It will be in SD in 2014 and in MO for 2015) This is a LARGE show and if you like IH red you do not want to miss it!

So.... How many from YT are planning on going? I'd like to meet some of you there!

I'm planning on going up there for a day. It's about all the way across the state for me. Luckly it's a couple days before I head to Kazakhastan with the Army!

I plan on attending as I have gone to every one starting in 2005 and consider it my vacation event of the year. With last years drought in this area and without any hay left over getting the hay baled and in the barns will take priority though but hope it will work out so I can attend, Hal.

I'll be there. Lima is only about a 2 hour drive for me. I'll probably have a tractor or two there, too. -Andy

I'll be there thursday through saturday with my wife, her uncle, and a family friend. Hopefully I'll have the opportunity to meet some people from this site who have helped me over the last year or so...

I will be there Thur, Fri, and possibly Sat. Not sure if I am bringing anything yet. I would love to bring the KB5, but not sure I want to turn a 4 hour drive into an 8 hour drive 1 way!

When we get closer to the show, we should try to pick a spot and time that we all can meet up for a few mins, so we can put faces on names.

My wife and I will be there; made hotel reservations in February. We're stopping at Wright Pat on the way up,staying 2-3 days at RPRU. We went to La Porte and Duquoin and enjoyed ourselves a lot. We met you briefly at Duquoin; I spotted your Cowman shirt. I actually enjoyed LaPorte better : seemed like more demos/exhibits and the plowing; I did not see any events listed of demos for this year.
If I understand correctly, do you have to belong to a chapter to exhibit your tractor? I had considered bringing my 300u and plow, if anyone could exhibit.

I plan to be there either friday or saturday, Lima is only a little over an hour drive for me so this will likely be my closest Roundup. I went to Laporte a couple years ago , lots of nice Red iron you don't get to see very often.

I am planning to take the Dyno truck to demonstrate testing horsepower every day. It should be a pretty good hit if we can pull it off. Yes. you must be a member of the National IH Collectors to exhibit. Being a member of the National but not necessarily a state chapter.
Members of state chapters are automatically a member of the National as a part of their dues.
