superA clutch locked up

My superA clutch was working several years ago, but, now seems to be froze up after sitting for years...Any hints on how to free it up without splitting it?

Aim it out the door. put a block below the pedal holding the clutch down. Start it is 2nd or 3rd. drive around and operate the brakes at random intervals. Jim

Put blocks in front of the rear wheels. Put it in road gear with the clutch blocked down. Put the crank in a position so the handle is sticking to the right when facing the tractor. Hang 100 pounds of sand or? on the crank handle. Remove the starter. Use a brass drift punch or aluminum bar stock, and a 16oz hammer. strike the meat part of the flywheel to vibrate the stuck clutch. (don't use the ring gear, or thin sections or ribs.) Jim

By road gear do you mean 4th gear...And I do not have a hand crank. But, that has given me some ideas. Thanks

If the driving around didnt work. Had a SC once like that and had to split the tractor then had to use chisels to remove the disc from the flywheel there was no way to get that one loose without splitting even had to get the flywheel refaced.

I just had a C that the clutch was stuck on,I pushed the clutch in and put a block holding it down, took the starter out sprayed the whole clutch with Brake cleaner let set over night, took a block of wood and firmly but gently tapped on the clutch all the way around and mine popped loose.I might of got lucky but that is what I did

You said you tried to drive it around a little. Maybe try a little more, or a lot?

Also leave the clutch pedal blocked down while it sits.

Do some heavy drawbar work (plowing, grading, skidding logs) with the clutch depressed. If/when it releases, it will do so with a loud BANG. Don't jump out of the seat when this happens.

Make sure that none of the pressure plate fingers are broken. If none are broke, spray penetrent on the clutch from under. Try to get it between the cluch and flywheel. Spin it over and spray again. Try to get uniform coverage. Wait a day or two and drive it around while pressing the brakes and clutch held in. Eventually that penetrant will burn off.
