I own a 1950 +/- International Industrial Super A that has flat fenders, instead of the typical clamshell ones. (See attached photo.) These fenders are constructed from 3/16 inch thick steel plate, and appear to have been factory made. There are upright tubes welded to the top surface of each fender, implying that the fenders may have supported a sunroof at one time. But these do not look sturdy enough to have supported a ROPS rollbar or roll-cage.
Does anyone know about these fenders? Were they commercially available?
Thank you very much. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
