My old plow I am working on appears to have a frame that was painted blue.It has cut down wheels, color ?? The tail wheel has a rubber tire. It appears the hub was red,rim cream white. This plow has always been in Illinois.It does not have Ace btms.I looked on the archives and all I find is red frame,blue axle, rear wheel assembly blue.Cream White rear wheel. Thanks Earl

Farmallboy"s plow looks accurate to me.
IH blue on axles, hubs, lift springs, back of moldboards, and other lifting parts (incl. trip handle and lifting hub.). Ih dealer here has no clue about blue so I researched it and one brand is NAPA 53 3736A. Other brands able to match it. It is NOT Ford blue.
IH cream on wheels. IH #935 white is very close to original cream.
Gloss black on hitch and coulter arms only.
IH red on plow frame and parts not blue.

that pic looks right to me also, but looking at some pics on Wisconsin Hist Society there are some color pics that the plows appear to be mostly implement blue. could be some made in Canada or something ? or just availability of red vs blue paint at the time who knows, if you look hard enough you can find paint decision info there .IH documentation is kinda like Watergate documentation, lots of missing info...
