we have a 1466 with 2 pto shafts we smoked the clutches and replaced them, pto's will pull anything now, but will not turn off even under load. any ideals on problem, thanks

What is the pressure on the clutch when engaged. Should be in the 180-230 range. Then what is the condition of the brake. If the pressure doe not dump out the PTO will drag.

try adjusting the linkage of the lever that engagues the pto. ussually have to do that some when you OH a pto

How many clutch plates did you put in? Sometimes it is possible to add an extra plate which causes too much drag so that the brake pistons will not stop it from turning.
