Aircraft Tires

Anybody know how to cross match aircraft tires? I
currently have 7.50-15 tried ribs on the front of
my Farmall 400. Have found locally for sale some
30x8.8-15 aircraft tires. From what I can find, I
think they may be about 3/4" wider and about the
same height but I"m not sure...can anyone shed
some light?

Also, do you need special rims for these or will
my standard 15" implement rims work? Are these
typically tubeless or tube type? Just trying to
gather some information before hand.

Tractor has a loader on it and current tires are
good at best and only 6ply so thought these
aircraft tires might be a good upgrade.

30 is the outside diameter, so they are 30" tall.

They should be a little larger than your current tires and a little wider, which should help with the flotation.

If they are not already on the right kind of rims, they are worthless to you.

They are VERY stiff and impossible to mount on a solid rim with just tire irons. You need a special tire machine. A regular tire machine won't touch them.

I put flotation implement tires on my wide front 6610, replaced the 7.5x16 with 11x16.

That was best decision I made, does not leave ruts when doing loader work.
