I am puting a single spool valve on my H. I have a few questions. Can my return hose from the valve be the same size as the hose going to the valve, or does it it have to be bigger. I am planning to T my return to the bottom of the tank. Can I put a filter in somewhere, maybe on the return side? Any suggestions are welcome.

I run the same size coming and going on my H.
Haven't had any problems. There isn't any pressure on return hose.

There are pressure filters and return filters. You just have to buy the right filter/setup for where you want to plumb it in.

You will want the filer on the return side. It is always better to have a larger return, but the flow is so low I doubt it would matter.
