Well if nobody else will answer, I"ll give "er a try. Don"t know about a "C", but on my "H" there"s a sort of clevis/spring assembly hanging on bottom of the brake pedals. My manual says to remove the clevis pin, then screw in / out the clevis itself until the brake pedal arm rests about 1 1 2/" from the transmission cover. [I think that"s just to give it some room before it actuates the brake bands.] Yuo have to fiddle with it to see if you screw IN or OUT on the clevis to tighten or loosen the brakes. Anyway, get that figured out, then get them set about right, then what I do is drive the tractor gently down the drive, and with the pedals clamped together, apply brakes. If she pulls left, the left is too tight. Tighten or loosen, your choice.
That might not have anything to do with a "C", but it might.
