Speaking of IW450 Diesels...

Wished I could find more information of the I models. Looking at this one it does show a draw but that is about all you can see.

(quoted from post at 02:35:52 04/05/13) Not having seen the previous post, what make this an 'I' W450?
Thanks, Sam

It is an industrial. Their features vary, but most have a foot throttle, pintel hitch, heavy front axle, etc.

Nobody really talked about what an IW would have, but a guy showed a picture of a heavily modified W450 that had an industrial look.

that is just the regular model w450. on the serial # plate it will say w450 also. I don't know where this I thing comes from. its not an industrial. don't even know if they had an industrial in this model. also in the serial # book I don't know why its listed with an I in front of the W. its a low production tractor with only a couple thousand produced. mine is serial # 1957 same year I was born.

one thing i see alot is people confuse the I on a serial plate for industrial when its actually the 'international' model of a tractor. I live in rwo crop country and a 'wheatland' style trcator is scarce and people simply seem to not really know the difference

Sorry, missed the International. Did they make an industrial or they quite that with the I-9?

It would have been an I450, not IW450. You dont call an I-4 or I-6 and Iw-4 or IW-6. I dont think they even made the I450 to start with.

Not much love for it. Only $1300 + $300 buyers fee. It is a good thing I wasn't bidding online.
