information on 1568

I have a original 75 model 1568, the previous owner replaced the dv550 engine with a 436, it works good, as I now it the 436 is much better engine, however being the value of 68s is now more than the 66s I am thinking of trying to find a usable complete dv550 to make it original, does anyone know if it would be possible to find and where to look? thanks.

your gonna need a bunch more than just a motor ! I bought a 1468 that had been changed to a 6 cyl . We have been gathering parts for several months to change it back .

If you want a 'user', you're better off to leave it alone.If you want to make a 'show tractor',I hope you have deep pockets......You will probably end up with a lower valued 'Frankentractor'.
