I have a 706 diesel that a freind has here for engine work. Long story short it will not pickup steering untill you open the plug on the valve then it will steer. I have changed the filter and oil are good. When it picks up it does just fine. But it has lost prime while driving it also. So i stuck a hose in the plug hole and let it shoot the oil back into the fill location and ran it. It pretty much consistantly has air in it. Where can it be sucking air? thanks for any help. Tad

Over fillthe hydraulics by about five gallons. There is an O ring that will now be submerged. Jim
