I am restoring a MTAD serial no. 80131 is this a MTAD or a MDTA. Ordered decals and they read MDTA.
 
the decals will read: M TA
the D will be the word "diesel" that goes on the tank. is no D in the decal with the wing. if its a TA delete then just a round decal without the wing.
 
rusted according to Guy Fay's book farmall Letter Series Tractors, on page 113 bottom right picture the last sentence goes like this.

Is a super MTA without a torque amplifier just a Super M? The answer is definitely "No"

its a super m ta delete! i know the answer so why you asking?
i am talking decals. i am saying the delete model does not have the wing on the ta decal. but it still says ta. its two different decals for each tractor.

He was quoting the book. He should have used quotes to make it more clear.
