Putting a 350 egine Kit in a H engine

Can any one tell me what i need to do to put a 350 engine kit in a H engine. Does the H engine need to be bored for the sleeves.

I think he is saying he wants to put a C175 kit in a C152 block. I know it would need to be bored, not sure if it can be done or not. My 300 has 350 sleeves and pistons in it but they are the same bore.

Nominal block bore without sleeves. H block 3.562. 350 tractor block. 3.750. Original piston pin diameter H- 1.109. 350-.875. IH sold pistons for all with .875 pins and used adapter pin bushings in the rod. Aftermarket mostly sells big pins for H and SH and small for 300 and 350 piston and sleeve sets. Always a chance for a pin hole in the cylinder wall when boring the H block to 350 size. But H blocks are cheep. Counter bore in block needs changed also if using off the shelf sleeves.
Would look for a 300 or 350 block. May not cost any more than the machine work on a H block.

Yes, it needs to be bored, but I doubt there is enough meat in an H engine block to allow for it. You will most likely break right through the cylinder walls and end up destroying the block.

ya i realized at same time i was pushing submit button and the stupid thing did go through, ohh well.
