My family sold off our farm equipment back in the spring of 96, from northwestern IL. We sold off my grandfather"s Farmall C tractor. Wonder if anybody had any idea on tips on how I might be able to track down where it may have ended up? I know it was freshly farm-painted the fall before it was sold, and probably was in need of a clutch throw out bearing, and had a 2x4 shaped dent on the tank, but that"s all I know. Might be able to track down serial numbers, but not sure if there are any places that might be able to help track it down. probably not :/

Thanks. I think my father may have the sales slips from the farm auction, maybe it's there. I think a dealer or another auctioneer bought it, may have ended up who knows where.

I am trying to find mY grandpas B no luck... but found the Cultivators off them! One SC got junked one SC is in the county and so is the F20 I think I know where the SC is and know the Guy wwho has the F20... hope to get then one day

Talk to the neighbors around the farm. You can bet they all were at the auction. That is how I found my Grandfather;s 56 Chevy Pickup.
But that was 35 years ago, the buyer wouldn't sell it to me, now his son has it and he won't sell it. And they drive by my place about once a month just to aggravate me.
But I am over it, too old now to worry about material things.
