Orchard W-30

Photo ads show an Orchard W-30. Ad says "correct swinging drawbar". I think that is INCORRECT. I don"t believe W-30s had swinging drawbars as CORRECT unless it was a special for the orchards. I have MANY hours on Dad"s W-30 Standard and there was no swinging drawbar on it. Also I"ve never seen a swinging drawbar on 10-20s, 15-30s or 22-36s of that style and era of IHC tractors.

The W30s did not have a swinging drawbar as standard equipment but
my parts book says a "sliding drawbar" was available as an option. The Orchard W30 on the other hand, had a "swinging drawbar" as standard equipment. In short, the seller is right when he says his Orchard W30 has the correct "swinging drawbar."

Its correct. want a picture of it? its just what Rob copied fromt he parts book

Kirk has seen this tractor in person, he can verify its 'correctness'

I've seen the tractor as well. Very nice original tractor. Good luck finding another one.

Swinging drawbars were available, definately, anybody needs one iv'e got em.

Thanks guys. I learned something with your entries. I grew up in small grain country in ND and owners of the big standard IHCs never had swinging draw bars until the W4, W6, W9 and later came about.

Hope I didn"t come on too strong with my original entry. I"m slowly learning my lesson to proceed with caution!!

those that know me can tell you i am really hard to pi** off. only thing i would ever suggest is ask a question to see a pic or as Rob posted, a copy of the parts book.

if you dont know ask.....someone is bound to know the answer
