Model A Farmall Lubrication

I want to change out the gear oil in the bull gears. Looks as if all I can do is drop the two pans. Any ideas?

Yes, you have to drop the pans from the final drives to empty out the old lubricant.

Terry, get new gaskets first. I drop the pans and wipe them out with newspaper, then wash them clean after the sludge is wiped out. Quarter inch air ratchet with an extension and socket works nice for the bolts. Each side takes one and a half quarts, or 6 pints of gear oil.
