I know they are an oddball, but does anyone know anything about the b414 ih tractor? My Dad is looking at one but would appreciate any info anyone might have. In other words, is it a decent tractor or one to avoid. Thanks in advance for any help.

I have 1 I just picked up (gas model) not running. Looks very similar to my 364. Also same basic tractor as B275. B means built in Great Britian. The 364 is diesel and I like it. Most parts are still available.

Don't have a loader on mine but I think the pump would not put out enough volume of oil to work a loader very fast. You would probably need a PTO pump. Someone on here probably knows about the loader.

I was looking at a B-414 once, and while it is a nice tractor, some of them did not have live PTO. If that matters to you, you better find out. I ended up buying a 434 petrol,(not a U.S.A. model) and I love it.

We had B414, 434, and 384 all Diesels very good reliable tractor. We had IH 1501 and 1550 loaders on them run of the 6 GPM 3 pt hydraulic pump. The loaders worked well.
