You can work a M or SM one on a SW-6. But depending on the radiator number some mounting holes on the side may or not be there. Also a SW-6 ratiator mat not have a steering shaft hole if wanting to put on a Farmall.
IH did make the same replacement radiators at one time to fit both tractors. Bunch of radiator numbers were put on the tractors with something a little different.
Looked for a list of radiator numbers I wrote down over the years and number and type of tubes in the core. Can't find it this morning but some assembly numbers made for both are 356511R91,92, 352629R91,92 may have less tubes than the next two. 367158R92, 357339R91. Reason I was looking for the list is the number on radiators is a number or two different than the assembly number. Think there's some more numbers also that will work. IH put there radiators, mccord and modine that I know of on the tractors. Lots of tractors may have the original radiators but a bunch have radiators that were replaced sometime. Just so many years ago that its not noticed. Think I counted up in the teens of different radiator numbers noticed for M and SM tractors once.
