I am not familiar with that model but I looked it up and it appears to be about the same size as the 9' cut NH 461 that I have run for the last three years with an H. This year I will be using the new 300 and I think it should be handier.

Assuming that model 1465 is a (9'3" cut haybine - sickle cut with conditioner) which is what I found under a quick google search then I think you will be fine in most crop conditions of average yields.

I have run a Hesston 1120 (9'3" cut moco - sickle cut with conditioner) with a lowly stock Farmall h as well as a John Deere A 2 cylinder putt putt. Either handled it okay in average conditions.
