Lubricating openers on drill

On my drill it says something to the effect of lubricate with 90 oil only on the disc openers. I assume that is because grease is too heavy.

Is there a modern day grease that you can use? Corn head/cotton picker grease comes to mind. If not, how do you lube them with gear oil? They have grease fittings on them.

I have a similar looking drill on high steel wheels and the grass seeder is up in front of the seedbox. The openers have a grease fitting on the back, between the disks. I have used regular gun grease and it has worked fine for years...
