| You could but a overdrive set of gears that went in the tranny. Two manufacturers were Heisler and M@. They had speeds between 4th and 5th also reverse was affected and pto speed increased. |

| Near the end of the run on letter model"s they made a M-TA, then they went to the 300-400 and they had the TA and other options |

| There were 9 speed units made. They were stop and shift style gear accessories. They produced 4 speeds that were between 4th and 5th. Which was good for rototilling (not rotary hoe) and pulling wagons on the road. They were not between the existing speeds. M&W and Heisler were the two most common brands. Jim |

| Ya it was a nine speed. Didn't work in fifth gear. |
