H Brakes Screeeeee

Took brakes apart, wire-brushed the glaze off the bands, took it down til Ihave tiny brass wires and fresh material, still have about 1/16" of material before i get into the rivets. I have grooves in the brake drums, but they're silvery shiny and clean. Adjusted the brakes correctly, they stop much better, but I still have the Screeeeee.
Any advice how to get rid of the Screeeee?

They are thin, but working. They often screech. One possible reduction method is to put anti squeal Goo on the back side of the band. This material is put on roughed up (course sanded) clean steel band.
I would put it on in spots about 2 to 4 inches apart and 1/4 inch thick the width of the band and maybe an inch and a half wide. Jim
