Fast hitch 450

Hello: My fast hitch while pulling a load moves @ 3" to 4" fore and aft when I have it locked to rockshaft for plowing w/trailer plow. I don't see anywhere to further stabilize it? Like a missing bolt or pin etc. Thankyou in advance for any ideas! Mark R.

I'm not familiar with the 450 fast hitch. But the main pull is from underneath in the same place the swinging drawbar would attach if there was no fast hitch. It would seem it would not move forward, but sideways is common. You might check the connection underneath, it seems to me that would be the only reason for a fore and aft movement.

When the hitch was new and the traction control handle was all the way down it helped on the moving. But they would still have some back and fourth. If you don't need to raise or lower the hitch, putting the lift links in the holes near the lift shaft will help. The holes are on the bracket that bolt to the transmission housing. Or if you weld some things can be done at the bracket under the transmission. One way is to weld up a stop block. Picture of one I did, mounted with 2 bolts. I remove the bolts and steel block if I want to use the traction control.
If you never want to use the traction control, you could weld the bracket solid.

660 guy The 450 had a so called draft control lever on the left side of the seat with a big D ring. I think it is locked in the up position, it should be all the way down. Flow the likage under the tractor to the front of the hitch you can see what the linkage dose.
