Stuck Depth-Adjusting Link

My depth-adj link on the 200 is stuck, real stuck. It is extended. Tried a few weeks of hitting it with atf/acetone at the joint and in pin hole. Used the tractors hydraulics to push/pull with no luck. Tried heat/beat some but don't want to mar the link.

Before I get more serious with heat/beat & have to replace it... anyone here got any suggestions to free it up?

Mine was stuck hard as well. It took a lot of heat to get it loose, tapping and twisting on it finally got it moving. Unless you have painted it since you have heated it, you didn't get it near hot enough. Do yourself a favor and get some Kroil or PBlaster.

Old welders trick that works...Heat the outside tube
to cheery red color.Imediatly imerse the thing in
water. The sudden contraction will break the rust.It
may take a couple trys....I have tryed that method
with success many times.Steve

Thanks for the replies. That pic was before I heated it. I will get it hot again and try the water. Really need to get a proper torch!
