Since my sparkplugs remain dry while my carb is overflowing. Normally when an engine is flooded the sparkplugs should be soaking wet right? What if my gas-valve is regulated normally while I crank the engine but once it fires up it closes the valve? Tomorrow I"m gonna try cranking the engine while operation the carb directly. You say the engine runs how fast is it running when it dies and how long does it run before it dies.It has to be a carb or gas flow problem with the carb leaking. You have got to have a problem with the float as it and it only controls the gas flow to the carb. When you say gas runs out of the carb where does it run out the throat or the weep hole in the bottom. [Reply]  [No Email]

It always had some seepage from the weep-hole whenever I flooded it or when I shut it down. I figured this was normal... I tried the linkage-thing I told you about earlier yesterday. I managed to keep her running like 10 seconds longer than just firing up. I"ll try to twitch the carb tomorrow like you said, that is if Celien will leave me alone long enough :-P. There always seems to be more urgent bussiness with her 2 rabbits than with my 4 tractors, go figure? I"ll keep you posted! [Reply]  [No Email]
