I've got a C251 with the Fert. canisters as well as the seed canisters...it's a 1pt FH set up (I noted above a poster said it was not an option on the 1pt.....buuuttt I have one...I haven't used it in about 3 years, but its been in the barn...where are you located and are you interested? Bob in VA

Larry, To my knowledge fertilizer hoppers were optional on the C-251 planter. Here are before and after pictures of one I know about. It looks good now.

I believe that is not a C-251. The C-251 also fertilizes.

Yes it is a C251. I bolted on a 3pt. Pics 1&2 I have the 2 points that can be bolted back on. This planter was designed by IH to be 1pt fast hitch, 2 point fast hitch, or 3 pt. This is per the operators manual.

Fertilizer distributor was an option on 3pt and 2pt but not for 1 pt. Seems it was too heavy for 1pt tractors.

Row markers where an option.
Pics 3 is a parts pile and 4 is my planter I use every year.
