B414 Spin On Filter Element

Well I bought a spin on filter adapter for my B414 but can't seem to find out what it takes for a filter. Anyone know the NAPA, Wix, or Fram # for it?

If you get a master catalog form NAPA (Baldwin would be a better bet), filters can be ordered by dimension. Take your adapter back off so you can accurately measure the gasket face,and thread pitch and diameter of the stud. A B414 had A-C or Tecalmet filter base, and it is possible the adapter stud is metric.

The adapter head is from a Mahindra 350 or 450. It is supposed to fit the b414. Been too cold to try it but that is what others are using.. Carquest says they have the filter. I am going out there tomorrow with the adapter to find out. Will post results.

I thought you had the little gizmo that converts cartridge to spin-on. If it's off a Mahindra, why can't you order a filter for a Mahindra?

Well I got the Carquest filter today. It fits perfect. Carquest # 85084

It also crosses to Fram Ph43. Hopefully this will help others who want to convert to spin on filter.
