head gasket - which side up

I am replacing the head gasket on my 650 gas tractor. Case IH supplied me with a Felpro which is steel on one side and fiber on the other. There are no instructions or markings of any kind which give me a clue about which side is up. The gasket will fit properly either way including all ports. Would someone share their knowledge about this?
Thanks!

Makes no difference. If you bought a set for a v-motor you would have one up and one down. It just the way they are made. I think you can install dry or with copper coat.

I believe that generally the crimped side of the fire ring goes up. Not really sure why, or if it even makes a difference, but that is what I've always been told.
I'd seal it w/ Indian Head gasket sealer or Permatex Aviation gasket sealer. I've done dozens of tractors using the later and never had a leak.
