C-20 Plow Weight?

Here is a pic of the plow. "Looks" a good 400# to me...

I'd say 500# max, when I picked mine up we put it in my short bed truck with a loader tractor. I put a piece of plywood in the box to stiffen it up.

I would agree on between 400 to about 550 pounds. The plow pictured has seen some action with a well worn set of Super Chiefs. It would have worn out a set of Plow Chiefs in an earlier life. It took my dad 10 years to wear out a set of Plow Chiefs from 1956 to about 1967 when he replaced the Plow Chiefs with Super Chiefs.

Thanks for the info guys. Was trying to figure if I needed one or two buddies to lift it in my pickup. ;)

LMack- yeah they are worn well! Went and looked at another C-20 plow today by chance. Had worn out plow cheifs and was pretty pitted up on the frame. Also was missing the furrow? wheel behind it. Learned a lot on this forum so far.
