560 gas engine block cracked

Hello guys i have a friend that has a 560 gas that he went to use the other day and found out that the block is cracked and he wants to find a complete engine to replace it with and i thought i would see if there was one out here and possibly relatively close to us in western illinois. Thank you

Where is the crack? I repaired a crack between #1 and #2 on a SH and it is still going strong with no side effects. 1/2 I consulted said it wouldn't work ; other 1/2 said go for it they had seen it done and it would work.

I don't have a block for you but have you tried Bootheel tractor parts in Missouri. Also, I don't know if they are still in business or not but there used to be a salvage yard in Alton called Wright's.

Wrights was in Quincy. Dave is still in business, but just new parts now. He does have a crankshaft grinder for sale out of the machine shop.

got a complete engine out of a combine it is a 281 gas runs like a top 618 352 0206 located east of st louis 75 mile

It just realized Wright's was in Quincy not Alton.
