301d into a 560

am putting a 301d in 560 that had a 282d. when swapping oil filter bases do you leave the oilpressure valve in the block of 301 or do you take it out,because the 282 base has the vavle in the base and if so what gasket do you use the 301 base gasket or gasket from the 282? and also i swapped oil sumps and not the pump is that ok? have the front plate switched and timing cover done its just the oil filter base trying to figure out. any info thanks.

Did one years back I think I had to bore a hole in the block for the oil return the rest i forget.Think you use 560 gasket.

do you by chance remember did you take out the 301 oil pressure regulator in the block behind the 301 oil filter base or leave it in,was thinking you take it out and run off the 282 pressure valve

I think that is the way useing the 282 parts.
